Thao Vy's Biography

Thao Vy's full name is Tran Xuan Thao Vy. She was born March 4th, 1998, in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. She moved to the United States in 2016 and currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Thao Vy is currently a senior at University of Colorado Colorado Springs. She is majoring in Visual and Performing Arts, Visual Art concentrated, and she will be graduating in Fall 2021. At the age of five, Thao Vy took part in her city’s art competition, called Net Ve Xanh, and won third place. After the competition, her art was displayed in Tao Dan park’s museum and sold a week later. Through that competition, Thao Vy discovered her passion in making art, and has been creating works ever since. She likes learning and experimenting new techniques in her works.
